Haskin Law has extensive experience in advising and assisting executors, administrators and trustees. Those named as executors may not know where to begin or what do when someone dies. We assist the personal representative or executor in probate to collect assets, pay taxes and other obligations, and distribute the net assets to the beneficiaries. We are also experienced in assisting and advising trustees in administering trusts for the maker during his or her lifetime should he or she become disabled, and after death for the maker’s spouse or children until they reach the age for distribution.
PROBATE AND TRUST LITIGATION
Even with well-crafted estates, someone may feel unfairly treated or prefer that matters be handled in a different manner from what you intend. Sometimes this means a court dispute – a will contest or a lawsuit over “undue influence” or for a change in executor or trustee. We are experienced in trust and probate litigation, including trial and appeals.
